Cladding Materials in Skylight
We can use Polycarbonate Sheets as well as laminated glass in Skylight.
Polycarbonate Sheets
Polycarbonate is an amorphous resin which offers a unique combination of mechanical, optical, thermal and electrical properties offered separately by metals, glass and other plastics. Virtually unbreakable, polycarbonate sheet products provide an unmatched combination of visual appeal, durability and excellent light transmission. GE plastics, offer s aesthetics, durability, safety and choice (select from Compact, Embossed, Multiwall).
Glass
Laminated glass does not shatter like ordinary glass. It absorbs impact, resists penetration, and remains intact even if broken, holding glass fragments in place and lowering the risk of injury. Laminated glass is an excellent barrier to noise. The sheer damping performance of the plastic interlayer makes laminated glass an effective sound control product.
